2GHO was responsible for the site plan and landscape design as well as the dune restoration for the 16.95 acre stretch of beach located within the City of Riviera Beach. One of the main goals for this beach restoration project was to improve the sea turtle protection, thus in addition to
the redesign of the dunes safety measures such as lighting were taken into account.
The parks entry plaza was redesigned to incorporate interactive fountains covered by shade sails. The redesign of the park allowed for many new amenities including major space for outdoor concerts and volleyball tournaments.
Other amenities added to the park include tennis courts, a tot lot protected by a shade sail, picnic shelters, bike racks,life guard headquarter facility, restroom facilities, showers, and custom drinking fountains with mist heads.
