- Professional Experience: Mr. Roden joined GHO in 2000 as an intern in High School through J.E.R.F.S.A. He has worked at GHO while studying Landscape Architecture. This opportunity gave him the unique experience of learning theory and design while receiving perspective from a practical point of view. Mr. Roden is knowledgeable of Florida’s Ecosystems and how they function & relate to each other. He has studied how humans have impacted the natural environment and how we should coexist with it. While studying at the University of Florida his final project was to plan Spoil Ecosystems for Lake Okeechobee that would benefit the Everglades Ecosystem as well as the communities that depend on them. He researched and analyzed through GIS modeling the Environmental, Recreational, Cultural, and Economic, enhancement for the Lake Okeechobee Region. Mr. Roden has worked on various projects and aspects of Landscape Architecture and Planning including Residential, Retail, Commercial & Public projects of all scales, from concepts to details. He also provides both 2-D & 3-D computer graphics, using multiple medias, from site studies to scaled project fly bys and walk throughs. Mr. Roden is proficient In AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In Design, Google Sketch up 3-D Modeling, G.I.S. Geographic Information System, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Word, & Microsoft Excel.
